We ran several UK-wide Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns, powered by a series of animated gifs, for the launch of Re-engage's new "Call Companions" service during the first lockdown of the pandemic. The launch was a roaring success with over 4,000 applicants over 4 months.
Working with Re-engage has been eye-opening. You don't really see how much social isolation is going on among older people in the country until you meet some of those they support. And even then you're barely scratching the surface.
A creative campaign pitched and developed for Habitat for Humanity. A series of documentaries, interactive videos and more for an EU-funded project to raise awareness of the UN's SDG 11 - with a focus on land rights, slums and gender equality.
A week after I'd watched "The Fundamentals of Caring" on Netflix, I received an email from the CEO of Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead about creating a video for his business. No need to say I was already pre-sold!
What started as a fun standalone project has turned into an ongoing relationship with a property developer to produce videos for their latest luxury homes in Richmond (Barnes to be precise), London.
Aside from paying the filming and editing, this was a fairly low budget video production. The hospital we partnered with to raise funds for their cause has let us use their chapel to film, and the "actors" are all volunteers. There was a great amount of red tape around filming in the hospital so that was not an option. Instead, we opted for the beautiful chapel that we found on the hospital grounds.
This is an exciting new series of videos produced for Discover Dogs - the annual event organised by the Kennel Club in London. A complete list of all dog breeds recognised by the Kennel Club in the UK to help you find out the best one for you
This is exciting video project is part of an ongoing series for Habitat for Humanity GB. Along with many other Habitat branches, they have sent a team of volunteers in the Philippines to help a large team of local workers on a project to rehabilitate and upgrade makeshift homes into typhoon-resistant homes.
I'm very excited to be invited back to take photographs at Crufts 2017! And to celebrate the occasion, here are the highlights from last year's dog show. A small series of dog portraits to get you in the mood.
A super low-budget project also used to validate a proof of concept to create an animated video under £2,000. The comic book approached served us perfectly, creating a unique identity and removing the need for more complex and costly animation.
A world where music and sci-fi collide to create a huge mashup of Star Wars, Guardians and the Galaxy and all the times we played with guitars as kids pretending they were space guns.
Last month I was hired to take photographs at London's biggest dog show Discover Dogs for social media purposes and to feed a new picture library dedicated to our canine pals. Here are the shots that made our list.
This film was used in a nationwide volunteer recruitment campaign online which ran for 18 months. The whole campaign returned an amazing average cost-per-acquisition at about £7.5 (more on that campaign later) and helped recruit thousands of applicants. More than the charity had ever recruited in such a short amount of time. This proved a much more cost-efficient way to recruit than the time- and labour-intensive ways usually employed by the charity.
Filming older people for Re-engage was a great experience: amazing life stories, old school humour and humility, real talk... and I mean zero filter for better or for worse ! I wish we could have focused on an actual series of these, giving a voice to people who are too often isolated. But the pandemic struck soon after we started and everything was put on hold indefinitely.
Another exciting website done for the Kennel Club back in 2016, here comes one of my favourite projects which shows that you can very easily use off-the-shelf e-commerce solutions like Shopify to build professional sites.
An energising, powerful trailer for an epic shelter-building and fundraising challenge aimed at housebuilding professionals in the UK. The challenge was organised by Habitat for Humanity Great Britain.
I had the opportunity to follow a group of trainee lawyers from Addleshaw Goddard LLP as they were building homes for a social housing project in Romania.
Not just "a" celebration, THE celebration - or so they claim! Here's the promo video I did for Crufts 2014.
DrEd, now Zava, was one of our earlier clients back in 2014, a very exciting tech startup in London at the forefront of medical innovation, but they needed a serious digital content strategy.
Building an SEO-friendly website for a reputable photography magazine focused on China.
