Recording Session at Old Paradise Audio

Last weekend I was invited for a filming session at Old Paradise Audio, a recording studio located in the very charming Old Paradise Yard near Waterloo, London.

The band that hired me was Authentic Blue, an eclectic pop-rock band with strong touches of West End cabaret. Here are a few shots I took towards the end of the session. Something to make them wait while I get started on the video editing process.

And also something to showcase this new recording studio in London - I've had the occasion to work with Jim the owner before since he's the drummer for Rony Trio. He's a great guy who shows amazing craftsmanship when it comes to music. You should definitely go and say hi.

I love attending recording sessions, it's a key moment in the creative process. Lots of decision to take, and sometimes tension and moments of doubts.

A cheeky photo, perfect for the cabaret song they're performing.

Last one for the road, I love the lighting in the studio. We did add a couple of lights here and there to help create better shots.
